JetBlue and Virgin Voyages Sell an Adults-Only Flight and Cruise Bundle for $2.75K

If you've ever wished you could take a flight without screaming children or spend a vacation entirely around adults, JetBlue and Virgin Voyages have something new in mind. The two companies are teaming up for an adults-only getaway that covers everything from your flight to your cruise, with no passengers under 18 allowed.

The package costs $2.75K for two people and includes a round-trip flight, airport transfers, and a four-night cruise. But with only 60 cabins available and some strict booking conditions, there's quite a bit to consider before paying.

What's included in the price

For roughly $1.38K per person, travelers get a round-trip charter flight from New York's JFK airport to Fort Lauderdale, private transportation to PortMiami, and a four-night cruise aboard Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady from March 4 to 8, 2027.

The package includes a Sea Terrace cabin with a balcony, along with luggage transfers from the airport to the ship. You'll still need to collect your checked bags at the airport before they're transported.

The sailing visits Key West and Bimini, and the price already covers taxes, fees, and gratuities. Each cabin also receives a $100 Bar Tab to use toward drinks onboard.

There are a few additional perks, too. Guests get priority boarding through Virgin's RockStar entrance, lounge access, a private welcome party, and an in-cabin gift. JetBlue is also offering one complimentary alcoholic drink per passenger during the flight.

At JFK, the first 60 customers to arrive will receive access to JetBlue's BlueHouse lounge, while 10 travelers will get an additional $50 onboard credit.

And if you collect travel rewards, the booking earns TrueBlue points and tiles toward JetBlue's Mosaic status, along with eligible Virgin Voyages Sailing Club benefits.

What to know before booking

The biggest limitation is availability. Only 60 cabins are being offered, with reservations opening at noon ET on Oct. 21 and closing at noon ET on Oct. 27, unless they sell out earlier.

You also can't book the package online. Reservations must be made by calling JetBlue Vacations at 844-593-7581, and the full $2.75K is due upfront.

The offer is limited to two travelers per booking, so solo passengers aren't eligible. It's also nonrefundable and nontransferable, although you can change the name of the second guest if needed.

Travelers must have passports valid for at least six months after the cruise ends. Given the restrictions, it's worth reviewing the latest terms before making a reservation, particularly if your travel plans aren't completely settled.

Is the package worth it?

That depends on how much you value the adults-only experience, especially since you can book the same four-night Brilliant Lady sailing separately through a travel advisor.

Before booking, compare the cost of the cruise, round-trip flights between JFK and Fort Lauderdale, and airport transfers for two. Then factor in the $100 Bar Tab and the additional perks to see how much extra you're paying for the convenience.

The biggest difference is that the package guarantees an adults-only experience from the airport to the ship. Booking everything separately won't necessarily give you that, although it may offer more flexibility.

And flexibility matters here. With the trip scheduled for March 2027, travelers are committing their money several months in advance without the option of a refund if their plans change.

JetBlue and Virgin Voyages are also making the journey part of the experience. The dedicated flights will feature entertainment from Virgin's Happenings Cast, with performances at the airport and onboard.

"People have wanted this kind of kid-free from takeoff to sail away for a long time, and now it actually exists."

Nirmal Saverimuttu, Virgin Voyages

For both companies, the package is also a test of whether travelers are willing to pay more for a vacation without children. Paisly president Jamie Perry told Travel + Leisure that future versions could include hotels or departures from additional cities if there's enough demand.

For travelers interested in this particular sailing, the decision comes down to price and flexibility. The package offers a more convenient, adults-only experience, but booking the cruise and flights separately may make more sense if you want greater control over your plans.
