We turn messy financial data into great consumer experiences.

We spent years building consumer finance products and learned firsthand the challenges of working with messy financial data.

These problems got worse with agents. We couldn't find a good solution to these issues, so we decided to build it ourselves.

Now we're taking the insights we learned to help power the world's financial agents with structured news data.

Our story

How we got here

v0

financial media

Hey, it's Vic. During COVID, I started a financial newsletter called The Average Joe. The mission was to help people live their best financial lives by empowering them to invest.

We leveled up, the team expanded, and the newsletter grew to over 200,000 subscribers. But we noticed that we were creating content for the crowd, never for the individual.

We always wanted a better way to personalize the experience, but the tech wasn't there. Then came LLMs.

v1

financial agents

AI enabled personalization at a scale not possible before. We saw an opportunity, so we decided to build Finks.

The idea was to create a financial assistant that helps manage your investments and finances.

From the start, a problem kept haunting us. We couldn't find a good and affordable way to power agents with real-time news data.

After a year of searching for a good solution and coming up short, we ended up building it ourselves.

v2

financial infrastructure

Good financial agents require structured and accurate data. Acquiring and cleaning that data takes time and effort.

Building good financial data infrastructure for agents takes people who have worked with them and understand their quirks. That's us.

Over the next decade, the number of financial agents in the world will grow exponentially. Consumers will interact with agents without even knowing it. And agents will quietly take on more and more financial tasks.

Our goal is to power those agents with the most structured and accurate financial news data in the world.
