Walmart began selling Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus together for $120 a year on Oct. 20. Bought separately, the two memberships cost $218 annually, so the bundle saves most shoppers $98.
The package includes warehouse club access, free delivery from both chains, a choice of ad-supported Peacock or Paramount+ switchable every 90 days, 2% back in Sam's Cash up to a $750 yearly cap, and 10 cents a gallon off fuel.
Delivery minimums apply, at $35 for Walmart orders and $50 for Sam's Club. Existing Sam's Club Plus members get Walmart+ added at no extra cost, Walmart+ annual members pay $22 more, and basic Club members pay $60 more.

| Sam's Club Plus ($120/yr) | $0 |

American Express Platinum holders lose a credit
American Express advertises a $155 Walmart+ credit on its Platinum card, worth up to $12.95 a month when a monthly Walmart+ membership is charged to the card.
Sam's Club's help page says the new $120 plan isn't covered by that benefit, so the monthly statement credit stops.
A Platinum cardholder who wants Sam's Club therefore pays the same $120 a standalone Plus membership cost before, while giving up the card perk.
The $120 figure also matches the Plus fee Sam's Club raised from $110 on May 1, when basic Club dues went from $50 to $60.
Bundle Undercuts Buying Both by $98
Annual membership cost in US dollars, as of Oct. 20, 2026
Bar chart. Annual cost ($). Walmart+: Annual cost ($) $98. Sam's Club Plus: Annual cost ($) $120. Both separately: Annual cost ($) $218. New bundle: Annual cost ($) $120.
Other fine print trims the headline deal. Included Walmart+ goes only to the primary member, there's no free trial, and the plan renews automatically each year with no monthly payment option.
Members getting discounted memberships through AARP, USAA, or other promotions could lose those savings by switching.
Walmart is buying loyalty ahead of the holidays
The launch lands weeks before peak holiday shopping, when households shift more grocery and gift spending toward bulk and delivery.
Walmart said costs tied to the change aren't expected to materially impact its fiscal third-quarter or full-year guidance.
It didn't disclose how many members it expects to switch or what the shift does to membership fee income, a high-margin revenue line.
US field associates at both chains get the two memberships as an employee benefit.
Sam's Club's join page pegs combined savings at over $700 a year, based on average savings among members who held both for at least a year.
For households that already shop both banners, the math is simple. For everyone else, it's a $120 bet on shopping there more often.
