T-Mobile has been handing out free stuff every Tuesday for a decade but most subscribers scroll past it.
The carrier says it delivered over $900 worth of freebies per member last year. Over the program's life, members have unlocked 1.4B offers from more than 500 brand partners.
Every Tuesday, members open the T-Life app and claim whatever's available that week. Offers rotate and expire fast, so timing matters.
This week's available offers include a free KFC Snacker with a $1 minimum spend, a free 20oz soda at 7-Eleven or Speedway, 10 free 4x6 photo prints at Walgreens, and a free 90-day personal plan subscription from Û.
Those weekly perks layer on top of standing monthly benefits. Members get a free large Slurpee, Big Gulp, or coffee from 7-Eleven each month. They also get a $5 movie ticket through Atom Tickets every month.
As part of the regular weekly benefit, participating Shell stations offer members $0.20 off per gallon on up to 20 gallons every Tuesday, plus complimentary Gold Status with an extra $0.05 off on other days.
Gas savings alone are worth tracking. At 20 gallons every Tuesday, that's $4 back per fill-up. Do that weekly and it adds up faster than a cashback credit card on a single spending category.
T-Mobile recently declared June its first-ever Member Month, and the perks it rolled out signal where this program is heading. Members can now get a free premium drink on Delta flights, which extends beyond Member Month as a permanent always-on perk.
Free DashPass by DoorDash, a 12-month membership, is also back for eligible members. More than 1.3M customers are already using it.
The T-Life app now includes T-Mobile Travel, which offers up to 40% off hotels and rental cars through partners including Hertz and Dollar.
The program only pays if you show up consistently. Offers in the T-Life app go live at 5 a.m. ET on Tuesdays. Some deals, like the Shell and T-Mobile sweepstakes, must be claimed by Tuesday. Others stay open until the following Monday.
There's also a stacking mechanic worth knowing: save an offer each week for four consecutive weeks and a $5 gift card triggers automatically. That's a small but real return on zero spending.
The most consistent savings come from gas, fast food, coffee, and movie tickets. Members who regularly redeem the weekly Shell fuel discount, monthly free 7-Eleven drink, and $5 movie ticket can offset a meaningful portion of the membership cost. Unlike traditional loyalty programs, there are no points, tiers, or minimum spending requirements.
