Red Lobster named Andy Pitts chief marketing officer and promoted Jon Tryzbiak from vice president of information technology to chief information officer.
Both appointments landed alongside an October promotional blitz built around cheap shrimp.
Pitts had run marketing on an interim basis since January, helping launch Red Lobster Nation, the chain's rebuilt loyalty program. He spent nearly two decades in restaurant marketing at Wingstop, Smoothie King, Fogo de Chão, and Dairy Queen.
Tryzbiak joined earlier this year and brings nearly 20 years of technology work, including stints at Brinker International, Bloomin' Brands, and Landry's.
The company said the hires add marketing and technology leadership for its next phase of growth.

Discounting is what broke the chain last time
Red Lobster made its $20 Endless Shrimp offer permanent in 2023. The viral deal cost the company $11M in the third quarter and another $12.5M in the fourth, per court filings.
The chain filed for bankruptcy in May 2024 with $692M in liabilities and shut roughly 130 restaurants.
Closures haven't stopped. The chain shed 36 locations this year, cutting its US footprint 7% to 484 restaurants, including the Times Square store after 23 years.
A Hermitage, Pennsylvania location closes Nov. 1, which the company tied to unique operating conditions at that restaurant.
CEO Damola Adamolekun said in February that more stores would need to close for the chain to move past bankruptcy.
The brand's collapse has become a political talking point. Senator Elizabeth Warren's recent video blaming private equity for worse food drew 100K combined likes on Instagram and Facebook. She's using it to push the Stop Wall Street Looting Act, reintroduced in September 2026.
Red Lobster's bankruptcy stemmed partly from decisions made by former owner Golden Gate Capital.
The test now is whether cheap shrimp fills tables without repeating 2023's math.
