Nvidia Is Writing Big Checks Across the Robotics Map

Neura Robotics closed a Series C of up to $1.4B this week, drawing in Nvidia, Amazon, Qualcomm, and Tether, according to CNBC. European industrial investors Bosch, Schaeffler, and the European Investment Bank also participated.
The German humanoid robotics company hit a valuation of roughly $7B, per a source familiar with the matter cited by CNBC.
The full funding is contingent on Neura hitting undisclosed performance milestones, the same source added.
"The future of AI will not only live on screens," said David Reger, founder and CEO of Neura Robotics. "It will move, interact, learn and work beside us in the real world."
Robotics companies have raised $55.8B so far in 2026, per Dealroom, a figure nearly double the record set in 2025.
Most of that capital has flowed to US and Chinese firms, but Neura's raise signals Europe is gaining ground, per CNBC. Other European entrants include SoftBank-backed Agile Robots in Germany and UK-based Humanoid.
Reger pushed back on the idea that only Silicon Valley produces globally relevant AI infrastructure companies, saying Neura ranks firmly among the global leaders in the robotics race, alongside the best in the US and China.
Nvidia's Physical AI Expansion
The chipmaker also announced a partnership with LG Group to build an AI factory, per an Nvidia blog post. The factory spans robotics, autonomous driving, data center technologies, and GPU cloud services.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang told Seoul reporters the companies are collaborating on "motor technology as well as mechanical systems" to advance humanoid robotics, per Reuters.
The LG partnership spans multiple subsidiaries, per the Nvidia blog. LG Electronics is developing home robots using Nvidia's Isaac simulation frameworks. LG CNS is integrating Nvidia robotics tools into its industrial platform. LG Uplus plans to build a large-scale AI data center running on Nvidia GPUs.
LG AI Research used Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs and the NeMo framework to develop EXAONE, per the same blog post. EXAONE is a sovereign AI model targeting Korean and global enterprise users.
Nvidia is positioning itself as the common infrastructure layer across the physical AI ecosystem. Its moves now span a European startup and one of Asia's largest conglomerates.
