Bowlero Rolls Out Bold Vision Beyond Bowling

America’s largest bowling empire is aiming for a perfect game beyond the lanes. After acquiring Lucky Strike last year, Bowlero is ditching its pins-and-gutters identity to embrace a broader entertainment vision — rebranding as Lucky Strike Entertainment and entering the $100B location-based entertainment market.
- Eying an industry 25x larger, Bowlero will transform over 75 centers into Lucky Strike locations over the next two years — changing its ticker from to on Dec. 12.
- With growth falling flat, new ventures are taking focus — food sales jumped 17% following a menu upgrade, while the recently acquired amusement park portfolio surged 38%.
Lanes of opportunity: Behind the name change, Lucky Strike is plotting a first-of-its-kind entertainment network where a single pass could unlock everything from bowling alleys to water parks. The strategy aims to smooth out weather-dependent revenue — offering indoor activities on rainy days and outdoor attractions when it’s sunny. The CEO noted that no other company “has offered [such] a diversified set of entertainment offerings nationwide … at an affordable price point” — seeing a perfect opportunity to strike while the iron’s hot.
